Environmental problems in this day & age are now a matter of  Global concern. No single country, corporation, business or individual can effectively address the massive issues whilst acting alone.

 

What is needed is Global cohesion, and NOW … !!!

 

Everyone needs to pull together united to create a "Global Solution" to our Environmental Cancer. As simple a concept as that would seem, this task is easier said than done. Many corporations, who "HAVE"  the resources to make key changes to the current environmental trends, never look beyond their bottom line profit statements. Preservation of the environment, ( and in turn our future),  rarely finds a high position in the corporate list of priorities, and in some cases not even a mention.

 

What these corporations do not realise is that all their profits will be meaningless, if there is not a sustainable environment to enjoy this wealth in. Let’s face it, a millionaire in a desert environment is not going to enjoy the day any more than a bankrupt.

• What can be done though …?

• Who is there to Police the  "Key" holders…. ?

• Do these "Key" holders even realise that their own, and their children’s futures,  are in their own hands….?

Ironic as it seems, if these decision makers would listen, besides pro-actively addressing many Environmental issues, E’Co can  MAKE  them huge amounts of money ABOVE what they can create,  per year,  using their current methods.

 

Have you ever tried to contact these people to discuss the Environment? If your mail, or call,  is lucky enough to be able to scale the multi-level  filtration system and find its mark, most would quickly realise that the reply was made to proverbially, "cover someone’s backside".

 

On the corporate level,  there  are  SOME  that have an Environmental Policy Statement. In some cases there is LIMITED  investment into pro environmental practises, but behind these seemingly good deeds, the question that needs to be asked is:

 

What the motivating factors behind the initiatives really are.

Are these initiatives in place to fool the public, and government bodies,  into perceiving the corporation as an environmentally friendly operation…?

One look at the  % of the  gross profits that are invested in environmentally sound practises, (from the more questionable corporations), would no doubt bring great sadness to most of us.

 

A question to all the, so called, "Leaders" out there:

How far will a cart with a hundred horses, all pulling in different directions, travel ?

 

Right now you have an opportunity to unite your environmental efforts with those of many, like minded,  others. At this time they are working with the same desire, but at a tangent to you. Would it not be much better to combine all those efforts through one organisation, (E’Co),  to make a much greater  positive  difference to an already immense global problem.

 

The choice is yours … !

 

Martin Luther King Jr. used simple logic, and focussed on the transformative power of shame to make a nation recognise its racial sins.

The World of E’Co has the same ideology regarding the Global problems afflicting our Environment.

Not only do we want to shame the uncaring, self centred corporations, in an attempt to help them change their ways, but also to highlight, praise, and applaud the pro-active ones for their efforts,  and their actions, made with the view of  preserving

"Our Future Environment".

 

Having said that, the following E’Co Police pages are dedicated to "Naming", in a positive light, those who will at least listen to what we have to say, and hopefully reply to our enquiries.

As many more pages have been dedicated to making known, and to shame, those who ( through their ignorance or lack of care), choose not to at least acknowledge our enquiries.

 

Note: The World of E’Co believes passionately that it will take all of us to turn the tide of environmental destruction, so those that will be found on the E’Co Police pages will be "ONLY" those that have been actively working for the environment and those who choose not to.

 

We apologise in advance if anyone finds these pages offensive, but look at it this way, If you make it to the E’Co Police pages, you will have something to be very proud of. Alternatively, you MUST have been found to have reason to re-think your stance on "OUR" environment.

 

Finally, E’Co encourages everyone to stop dealing with, or supporting, those that make it to the Negative list, and just as strongly, asks that we all support those that make it to the Positive ones.
